Testing and analysis on glazing and components
We are active in the area of flat glass product testing at different levels:
- In the area of building glass, as a laboratory approved (no. 1174) by the Services Publics Fédéraux, we carry out Initial Type Tests (ITT) or monitoring necessary for application of EC marking. These tests cover the statutory technical requirements and are recognised in all European Community countries. As an independent laboratory, licensed by the UBAtc, we participate in technical commissions and carry out initial and periodic testing.
- Coated glass and float glass
- Photoenergetic properties (EN 410) and emissivity measurement (EN 12898)
- Classification and durability (EN 1096)
- float glass: soda lime silicate glass (EN 572), borosilicate glass (EN 1748), alkaline earth silicate glass (EN 14178)
- Insulating glass
- Initial tests on insulating glass units (EN 1279
